Hear my prayer...

The last few years in Bulgaria were filled with sorrow. Many Bulgarian mothers lost their children for unknown reasons. Probably, you still don't understand exactly what I am talking about, but I will try to be clear and direct in my manner of expression. I will put all my effort n this because I don't want to be misunderstood.
I am a student, not just anywhere, but in Sofia and the majority of my gray workday goes in the "Student City". In that same student city in which several young people were killed in recent years. On December 5th 2008, a boy was killed in a park in student city, close to the club "Amnesia". Accused of the murder are three other students. This year the city of the Bulgarian future, gave another victim. This time not in a park, but in his own dorm room, a 19-year-old student was killed. For this tragedy too have been accused young students.

This is the situation. You and I do not know the victims or the perpetrators. That is why I don't seek their names, I am not retelling already known facts. Those boys no longer breathe and they will not return! And you and I, we know only that something is happening ... something very wrong. What happened in 2008? Club  "Amnesia" was closed and that's it. The tragedy was hardly caused by the existence of a night club near the park. There was endless talks that the clubs in the "Student City" should become libraries, that this is a place of depravity and violence, that nightclubs are the reason why young students do not appreciate the value of life...

What happens in 2012? The answer is Nothing! Nobody is really searching for the reason these lives were taken. Mothers, perhaps mad with terror once again want the clubs closed, the music banned, secretly hoping that the disappearance of pop folk will stop violence.

Let's look the music. Pop, rock, folk music, classical, rap, they all unlock the human emotions, make people dance, cry, shout or hit. How can the music in the student city kill a boy? Yes, the so-called folk music, isn't full with moral values and precepts, but the more often I listen to it the more I hear songs about love. Whether shared or not, whether consumed or not, love does not kill! Not chalga killed that boy nor rap nor alcohol. What killed him was other men's hands. Ruthless, mindless, devoid of care and education. As much as this might hurt the mothers of my peers, this is the truth.

When parents fail to raise a strong, sensible man, a man filled with the values and aspirations, then this is what happens. He goes out alone, makes the choice to get drunk or get high out of his mind, he makes the choice to get into a fight, he chooses to take life, because he does not know how sweet the air is, because he does not know that when he  breaths he can fix everything, because he was not taught that he can be stronger when gives a life, not when when he kills.

It’s easy for me, I saw a good family. I learned to love, to respect, to enjoy all living creatures. So I can say quite frankly: People Think! It is not the clubs, not the alcohol, not the partying that kill your children! Values and morals are gone. Children in kindergarten fight and swear, as savages, and their fathers even encourage them. It's all a matter of conscience and judgment. How much will one drink, how much will one be dancing, how many will the fists be and how necessary are they?

Yet it's not so easy for me, I can go out in the park in student city tonight and no matter how humble and calm I am, I will stand against a man who doesn't know that sweetness. Take a breath, please! See how much beauty and tremor, and even childish naivete there is in my last lines, because I still believe there is something that distinguishes us from animals. We love music, dance and colors. Listen to the pulse of the nature, but sometimes we forget how our own hearts beat
